We are really pleased to announce the appointment of Karl Knedler as Assistant Course Superintendent.

Karl has been a member of the Tauranga Golf Club family since he started playing golf as a junior in 2006. Karl is an accomplished golfer, playing Golf for BOP & winning our Club Strokeplay Championship in 2017, Matchplay Champion 2016 & 2023. A very special 2016 win with his wife Emmalee winnning the Ladies Club Championship in the same year!

Karl has worked for The Clubroom in the Golf Operations role and with his golfing experience and a short stint working in Civil Construction, Karl brings a wide range of skills to the role. He is currently completing his Sports Turf Management Qualification which will see him become a fully qualified Greenkeeper in a few months.

Karl & Emmalee were married here at the TGC and have gone on to have 2 lovely children Oscar & wee Indie born 15 March this year.

We are very pleased to have Karl on the team and I am sure that you will join us in congratulating him on this appointment
