This Saturday is Round 4 of the Mens & Womens Strokeplay Champs. All the best to those players that are still in contention.

Due to a Wedding in the Clubhouse, we will be unable to hold a mens formal prizegiving. However, the mens committee have decided that they will hold a special Mens Strokeplay Prizegiving on Saturday 10 April. This will allow us time to confirm the results, engrave the trophies and have a proper celebration with the winners. We will also be awarding the ALAN WARD MEMORIAL TROPHY - Awarded to the competitor in the Stroke play Championships scoring the best net aggregate over rounds one and two.

Please also note that it’s a big Raceday this Saturday, so parking will be limited. If you can carpool or get dropped off, this may avoid some stress. You may also like to consider parking in Marshall Ave and walking over.

We are thrilled to be hosting the wedding of Karl Knedler and Emmalee Morrell this Saturday 27 March. Their big day was postponed due to Covid lockdown last year, so it has been a long wait for them.

Access to the clubhouse will be restricted from 2pm on Saturday. However, the afternoon field will be able to access the Bar via the Trophy room. The Café will be closed from 2pm – apologies that we will be unable to provide post round snacks.

The Smokehouse BBQ truck will be onsite as they are catering for the wedding – advance apologies to all the Vegans and Vegetarians who may be traumatised by the smell of sizzling Brisket!

I appreciate this is a disruption to your golfing day and it is not something that we plan to do on a regular basis. Karl & Emmalee’s love story began at the Golf Club and they are excited to continue that story here at the TGC. We wish Karl, Emmalee and baby Oscar all the very best.
