Dear Guest, Monday, 16 March, 2020

You will all be aware of the recent developments with the Coronavirus Pandemic. This is a something that we all need to take seriously to minimise the spreading of this virus.

Our number 1 priority at the Golf Club is the health & welfare of our staff and members. We have a slightly older demographic, and a well travelled membership. In this respect, we ask that all members take extra special precautions. We recommend the following:

· If you have recently returned from any form of overseas travel, please consider voluntarily staying away from the Golf Club until you are confident that you are healthy.
· If you have returned from overseas travel since the Monday 16 March 1am curfew, you must self isolate and this means please stay away from the Golf Club for the mandatory stand down period.
· If you are feeling unwell, please stay away regardless of whether you have travelled or not.
· Avoid handshaking, hongis and kissing your golf mates.

We have made some procedural changes in the Café & Bar to minimise the risk of contamination:

· Sanitiser has been placed on the counter in the café. Please sanitise first and then use tongs to select your food. If you are struggling to get what you want from the cabinet, please ask the staff to serve you.
· Cutlery is wrapped and behind the counter. If you need cutlery, please ask the staff.
· Please do not self serve from the Cookie Jars – the staff will serve you.
· Staff will be extra vigilant with sanitising and wiping surfaces, including the Eftpos Terminal and Cash Register.
· All drinks in the bar will be served in a fresh glass. This will avoid the risk of glasses being mixed up if buying a round for a group. It will also avoid contamination of the Bar Taps. Please return used glasses to the silver trolley.
· Lemons & Ice will be served by staff, please do not self serve.

This is a rapidly developing issue and something that we have not experienced before. Please be extra vigilant around your own personal health and hygiene. One good piece of simple advice is (apart from self-isolating) in general, behave as though you have the virus and are not wanting to spread it to anyone else.

Stay safe and be kind to each other.
