Notes from 9 Hole Golf 14th May
To make things easier for Jan who keeps track of our results during the year from now on can you please place your scorecards on the top table each week after scanning.
Most results are taken from your scanned card but sometimes she needs to use the cards for results.
If you have a brilliant round and want to take the card home to frame just check in with Jan first please.
Marion passed on the following information/ request from the club about course etiquette
- Please rake the bunkers after use, going from the middle of the bunker to both edges.
- Repair divots and pitch marks you make on the course.
- Make sure you keep your place in the field to prevent slow play. The player with the lowest handicap you need to keep your group moving if necessary.
Next weeks competition is Cherrywood Butchery Nett
This is played once a month, best nett on the day receives a sponsors Voucher.
Tournaments / competitions coming up
Breast Cancer support Tournament at Tauranga hosted by the 18 hole ladies ,open to all club members
Date Wednesday 29th May, Fun 18 hole Ambrose with shotgun start at 12 noon.
$20 entry includes Lunch , competition and a donation to Breast Cancer.
Lunch is from 11am.
If you want to enter add your name and money to the list in the 18 hole shelf in the club office.
Women’s BOP/TV vets 9 and 18 hole Tournament
Teams of 3 , combined stableford
At Hauraki Golf club Wednesday 12th June.
Entry $12 per person $12 lunch payable on the day.
9 hole teams 10.30am for a 11am start.
Entries close wed 5th June, email to jensmillie@yahoo.co.nz include ID numbers including 400 for the club and a contact phone number and email.
