Hello Ladies,

It is our opening day next Tuesday 12 February. We are going to run a competition ( thanks to Lauren for the idea). I think she tried it with the vets and it was very successful. There will be 3 points for every drive that lands on a fairway or with a par 3 where there is no fairway, if it lands on the green. There will be minus 2 points for drives that go off the fairway. Prizes will be given at my discretion on the day.

Saturday tee times have become so tight with the increasing number of 18 Hole Men & Women wanting to play. It is important to note that Saturday is the only Club Competition day for men and as such, they have priority over tee times in the same way that 9 Hole ladies have priority on a Tuesday morning. We have 8 registered Saturday 9 Hole players, so our tee times have been reduced to three from 16th Feb. Saturday golf has come down to those who nominate Saturday as their competition day because they work and can't play on Tuesday. If there are spaces, it will be for those who work and can't play any other day. There is the option of a swing tee time with the 18 holers if they don't use theirs, but we won't know until the day, so that will be a roll up and see if there is a space. We ask that everyone is respectful and considerate towards fellow players and staff so that we can accommodate as many people as we can.

Thursday Tee Times - It would be really appreciated if Thursday players would book the 9 Hole tee times first on a Thursday. Once all the 9 hole times are booked, you are very welcome to book into the casual times. The Club have noticed that the ladies are taking alot of the 18 hole times off hole 7 and leaving the dedicated 9 hole times. These tee times cannot be used by anyone else and the club are getting complaints from 18 hole players who are missing out.

It is good to see a number of new members joining our group. Please introduce yourself and make them fell welcome
