The Board has agreed in principle to the implementation of a membership proposal that would see the Club as the owner of a 12-seat van/coach and a custom-built trailer that would hold 12 sets of players clubs, trundlers and equipment.

We see a variety benefits including:

· Care has been given to ensure an easy to drive vehicle is central to the purchase

· Collective transport for pennant and associated club supported events

· Branding and promotion for the Club

· Income generation from private Tauranga Golf Club member hire (golf tournaments or games, shows, special occasions and sports events as an example)

· General transport for the club administration

· Support transport for club tournaments such as the Carrus

· Sober driver transport

The proposed funding would see sponsors and members agreeing to gift the combined capital costs to the club.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the club with an asset that will have wide ranging benefits to a significant number of our members and we ask you that you consider sharing financial support.

Expressions of interest supporting the proposal can be registered with the Club Manager by simply replying to this email acknowledging your request for further information.

The project implementation team will be in touch with those showing expressions of interest and will make other approaches to interested parties.

Full details of the acquisition arrangement will be notified to you in the early part of 2019. At the same time, formal presentations will be made to each representative group of members so further discussion and questions can be answered.
