1.

  1. Summer Cup:

This year entry was limited to the first 16 people to put their names on the list in the locker room. This decision was taken due to a lack of interest across many of the Club competitions. However, feedback from both the Director of Golf and the Pro-shop staff has highlighted that many more than 16 men would have liked to enter. The Men's Committee will, therefore, review this and seek ways to change for future Competitions. It is hoped that a regular Newsletter will raise interest.

  1.    2 Mens Christmas Hamper:

You will shortly see the posters going up to advertise the Men's Christmas Hamper to be played on Saturday 16th December.

This year the men's committee have changed a couple of things to offer more choice to the players.

The Competition is open to both morning and afternoon players.

The format will be hidden 4's with all four individual Stableford scores added to give a team total.

There will also be a prize for the best individual Gross and Stableford scores

Prizes

There are 32 half hams and six x $50 meat packs on offer to a total value of $1,800

Best Individual Gross score wins a half Ham

In the event of the best individual scorer winning a team prize the half ham will go to the next best Gross or Stableford score

Entry Fee $10.

Note to morning players;- We will have little capacity to store such a large prize table so players are asked to either be in the Club House for prize giving or check the competition results on the Dot Golf site (the winning teams will be posted as soon as the last person is in) you will then need to come to the club to pick up your prize or phone a friend to do it for you.

3. Clubhouse Half Ham Voucher Draw.

The draw sheet is now on display within the Clubhouse. As soon as the sheet is filled a draw will be made and the first two numbers drawn will each receive an Aussie Butcher Half Ham voucher. This will, depending on demand, continue right up to Christmas.

4. The Saturday Meat Raffle

History shows us that with a one-tee start on a Saturday there are insufficient people, within the club house, to have a successful raffle. It will, therefore, be suspended until opening day.
