Jay and Jack Carter (Golf Fusion) commenced their contract to operate the Pro Shop at the Tauranga Golf Club in February 2006. Resident NZPGA Professionals are Jay Carter, Mark Leach and Mikayla Bell. Head Professional and Golf Fusion MD Jay Carter has played Amateur Golf at the highest level, is a past member of the NZ Golf Titelist Squad and represented the Bay of Plenty, Wellington and New Zealand in the 1990's. Both Jack and Jay Carter have a long association with the Tauranga Golf Club and Jack played a key role in the Club's highly successful Junior Academy Programmes that produced top players such as NZ Amateur Champion Eddie Burgess, Jay and George Kinghorn.
