The Senior A team continue their good form registering their 3 win from 4 rounds on the competition.

The boys faced Opotiki whom are one of the stronger teams in the senior A competition, with Tauranga and Opotiki likely to be fighting to make the 2 position behind Kawerau come finals time. The troops got off to a tough start in the morning foursome matches on a sodden Omanu layout coming in with only 1 point (thanks to the efforts of Oli Coxhead and Jack Tisch).

But with the change of weather came a change in fortune for the team recording a remarkable undefeated afternoon with wins to Pudney, Coxhead, Cannon, and Ornberg, Knedler and Tisch showing real fight to knuckle out important halves.

The end result being a 5.5/3.5 Win to Tauranga

That win now puts the A's in a great position to make the Finals providing they win their remaining 2 rounds.
