Great result for points for the Tauranga Intermediate Team when they played their latest round against Ohope at Te Puke on 25^th March.  In the morning foursomes, the team managed to score 2 ½ points out of the possible 3 with 2 matches going all the way to the 18^th. The afternoon singles saw 3 matches completed fairly early with John Kearney winning 8 & 7, William Coxhead winning 6 & 4 and Simon Dawson winning 5 & 4.

The remaining 3 matches went all the way to the 18^th with Mike Sherratt and Dave Cooper both winning the 18^th hole to give them 1up wins, while Lindsay Klee chipped in for birdie on the 18^th to secure a half.

The 8 & 1 win, now puts Tauranga on top of the Gold section, half a point ahead of Opotiki who they play next Sunday.
