Graeme and the team had a very successful coring week, and thankfully with the help of mother nature the recovery is going well. The first cut of the greens will happen Friday 16th in the afternoon. So we should see an improvement in the roll. It is important we allow the greens to recover and grow and much as possible before the first cut happens.
We do thank our members for their understanding during this "bumpy" time. 

7th Green

Chris McAlpine, Ian McCullum and the rest of our valued volunteers have been working very hard on the course over the last few weeks. The team have just finished concreting a mowing strip around the edge of the 8^th tee box, and the green staff will be laying new grass from the turf nursery next week. Hopefully again with the help of Mother Nature we will be using this tee box soon.

8th Tee Box

The construction of the new bunker on the 8^th fairway is under way and we should have this completed by the end of next week. This bunker was part of the original design and should present a good challenge for players of all levels.
