The weather was shining, the bus was loaded up and with all antlers on, the golfing girls were off on another SLAMBO adventure with our favourite bus driver Graham from Tui Taxis.

Only one smartie guessed the destination which was Rachelle, and Kim won the prize for the exact kilometres. First stop was the Mamaku Blue Winery at Rotorua for wine and liqueur tasting, followed by delicious pancakes, blueberries and cream for morning tea. With tummies full we headed off to our destination which was Tirau Golf Course.

A little blustery for the antlers, so most of us spent the day trying to keep them on (well that's our excuse for the golf results).  However one person was able to play golf well and keep her antlers on, congratulations to Orana Harris with a winning net score of 69.  The bar staff at Tirau joined in the fun of the day and hoped we would all be back soon for more fun and frivolity.

The frivolity continued on the bus trip home with all the golfing jokes you could think off. (Pity about the poor lady who was stung between the first and second hole!)   We ended off a wonderful day with dinner and prize giving at Syndicate on the Strand.  Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors, especially Golf Fusion.
